【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheSymbolicMusicRepresentationtechnology.BycapitalisingtheSymbolicMusicRepresentationtechnologytheacronym“SMR”hasbeenderived.Asymbolicrepresentationofmusicisalogicalstructurebasedonsymbolicelementsrepresentingaudiovisualevents,therelationshipbetweenthoseevents,andaspectsrelatedtohowthoseeventscanberenderedandsynchronizedwithothermediatypes.Manysymbolicrepresentationsofmusicexist,includingdifferentstylesofnotationforchant,classicalmusic,jazzand20th-centurystyles;percussionnotation;andsimplifiednotationsformatsforchildrenandvisionimpairedreaders.MPEG-4SMRdoesnotstandardizeoneormoreoftheserepresentations,butinsteadisanextensiblelanguageallowingthoserepresentationsandmanymorewhichshareacommonunderlyingstructureofmusicrepresentation.MPEG-4SMRallowsthesynchronizationofsymbolicmusicelementswithaudiovisualeventsthatexistingstandardizedMPEGtechnologycanrepresentandrender.TheSMRtechnologyiscomposedofdifferenttools,whichnormativedescriptionsareinClauses7to12.―SMRBitstream:thesyntaxandsemanticsoftheSMRbitstream.―SymbolicMusicExtensibleFormat(SM-XF):thesyntaxandsemanticsoftheSMRformat.―SymbolicMusicSynchronizationInformation(SM-SI):thesyntaxandsemanticsofthesynchronisationInformationbetweentheSMRelementsandtheotheraudiovisualelements.―SymbolicMusicFormattingLanguage(SM-FL):thesyntaxandsemanticsoftherenderingrulesthatareappliedtotheSMRXMLformatforrendering.―SMRObjectTypesforProfiles:theobjecttypesofSMRtobeusedforthedefinitionofProfiles.
