【摘要】:Thecarbonblackextracttestprocedureprovidesauniformandprecisemethodforthegravimetricdeterminationoforganic-solventextractablesoncarbonblack.Accuracyandprecisionareacceptableformostspecificationorregulatorypurposes,orboth.However,carbonblackwithverylowextract(lessthan0.02%)mayrequireamorerigorousextractionprocedure.Theactualchemicalcompositionoftheextractcanvarysignificantlywiththetypeandoriginofthecarbonblack.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedureformeasuringcarbonblacksolventextractables.1.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminesthetotalmaterialextractedfromcarbonblackbytolueneunderspecifiedconditions.Theprocedureisalsoapplicabletoothersolventssuchascyclohexane,etc.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificprecautionarystatement,seeSection7.
