【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesacoolingtimeversustemperaturepathwaywhichisdirectlyproportionaltophysicalpropertiessuchasthehardnessobtainableuponquenchingofametal.Theresultsobtainedbythistestmaybeusedasaguideinheattreatingoilselectionorcomparisonofquenchseveritiesofdifferentheattreatingoils,neworused.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheequipmentandtheprocedureforevaluationofaquenchingoil''squenchingcharacteristicsbycoolingratedetermination.1.2Thistestisdesignedtoevaluatequenchingoilsinanon-agitatedsystem.Thereisnocorrelationbetweenthesetestresultsandtheresultsobtainedinagitatedsystems.1.3ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesisareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
