【摘要】:ThistestmethodisofsignificanceinmakingafinaldeterminationoftheacceptabilityoffineaggregateswithrespecttotherequirementsofSpecificationC33concerningorganicimpurities.Thistestmethodisapplicabletothosesampleswhich,whentestedinaccordancewithTestMethodC40,haveproducedasupernatantliquidwithacolordarkerthanstandardcolorplateNo.3orcolorsolution.ManyspecificationsprovidefortheacceptanceoffineaggregateproducingadarkercolorintheTestMethodC40test,whentestingbythistestmethodindicatesthestrengthofthemortarcubespreparedwiththeunwashedfineaggregateiscomparabletothestrengthofmortarcubesmadewiththewashedfineaggregate.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheeffectonmortarstrengthoftheorganicimpuritiesinfineaggregate,whosepresenceisindicatedusingTestMethodC40.Comparisonismadebetweencompressivestrengthsofmortarmadewithwashedandunwashedfineaggregate.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.SomevalueshaveonlySIunitsbecausetheinch-poundequivalentsarenotusedinthepractice.Note18212;SievesizeisidentifiedbyitsstandarddesignationinSpecificationE11.Thealternativedesignationgiveninparenthesesisforinformationonlyanddoesnotrepresentadifferentstandardsievesize1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Warning8212;Freshhydrauliccementitousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoexposedskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)
